Atalanta have officially announced the signing of defender Odilon Kossounou from Bayer Leverkusen on loan with an option to buy.
The defending Europa League champions will pay a loan fee of around €5.5 million with an option to buy for a further €25 million.
The deal for Kossounou comes minutes after Atalanta allowed Ten Kopmeiners to join Juventus on a permanent basis.
Kossounou becomes Atalanta’s 11th new signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Rui Patricio, Juan Cuadrado, Raul Bellanova, Lazar Samardzic, Marco Brescianini, Mateo Retegui, Nicolo Zaniolo, Ibrahim Sulemana, Ben Godfrey and Charles de Ketelere.
