Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has revealed that something can still happen when asked about the forward’s potential summer exit as Atletico Madrid and AC Milan battle it out for Germany striker Niklas Füllkrug.

Füllkrug, who impress at Euro 2024, is likely to leave Dortmund this summer, despite being contract until June 2026.
Bundesliga giants have just signed Seru Girassi from Stuttgart.
Girassi’s arrival means Dortmund now have four strikers in their first-team squad, ยูฟ่าเบท which Kehl feels could be a bit too much.
“Last year we had three strikers, something can still happen in that position. We know it’s not an idea to start the season with four strikers,” Kehl said during the pre-season tour of Thailand.
“I spoke with Niklas before we signed Serhu (Girassi), I found that all the boys were very ambitious in these conversations, it’s about the club’s goals and the competition situation is part of it. Ultimately, improving will help all of us.”
Though Milan have recently announce the signing of Spain captain Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid, they are also pushing to add one more striker to Paulo Fonseca’s squad ahead of the 2024-25 season, having recently bid farewell to Olivier Giroud.
Füllkrug has been suggest as the ideal candidate for the role.
Coincidentally, Atletico Madrid are also interest in a deal for Füllkrug as a replacement for Morata.
